Cool and comfortable - The lycra® Full Body Rug is essential for competition preparation. Keeping the horse clean, the plaits secure and giving the coat a fantastic mirror shine.
Designed to be used in the stable all year round to keep your horse/ponies coat sleek and shiny and will prevent rubbing on the mane and shoulders often caused by poorly fitted stable rugs.
These rugs are very effective but they MUST be used correctly, overloading with many layers ontop will be restricting and make the horse/pony uncomfortable so we advise to use no more than 1 stable or combo rug on top of the Lycra All -in-one.
If used daily you will not need to bath for every show, as the coat is cleaner and has a healthy shine.
Saves hours of grooming, you will be amazed at the difference in their coats even during Winter.

A MUST have rug when the nights turn colder in Autumn to help prevent a velvet fluffy coat growing, essential if you are competing at Olympia and Horse of the year show. A comfortable non restrictive layer between the horses coat and the top stable rug.
This unique breathable lightweight lycra will also provide a cooling effect on warm days in the stable and keep unwanted flies from biting. Designed to be worn even in the hottest temperatures in countries like South Africa & Australia to provide comfort to your stabled horse. Suitable for use on its own during hot summers nights when it is too warm for a stable rug.

Wash the rug once per week to ensure it is clean from grease build up inside and to retain its shape.
We highly recommend washing our lycra in the Quilted/Padded Equine Laundry bag as they protect the rugs and zip during washing and it means that no horse hair is left in your washing machine!
