Manufactured using a special 4 way stretch water resistant fabric, much stronger for "Rug thugs" which need a hood that is stronger than our Lycra® Bib'N'Hood.
The Turnout Bib'N'Hood© covers the chest and shoulders completely, fantastic for horses suffering from rubbed shoulders. The unique all-in-one design ensures there is no centre seam putting pressure on the mane and the inside of the mane area is fully lined with Lycra®. Another design feature is the double elasticised chest straps which keep the hood firmly in place.

The Turnout Bib'N'Hood is an essential part of your horse/ponies wardrobe to keep them clean during turnout, suitable for use all year round, as the fabric is lightweight, breathable & quick drying. Stops flies from biting the face & neck area. Can be worn on its own, underneath a fly rug for extra protection, or teamed up with any rug for turnout or stable use.
We do advise to wash the horse/ponies mane before using any hoods or rugs which cover the neck, and also spray with coat gloss. this will keep it silky and cleaner for longer. As soon as you can see scurf building up or it feels greasy wash the mane. Wash the Turnout Bib'N'Hood regularly to prevent grease build up.
We highly recommend washing our Bib N hoods in the quilted Equine Laundry bag as they protect the hoods and zip during washing and it means that no horse hair is left in your washing machine!
Please purchase the size equivalent to your horse or ponies stable rug.
If your horse is well built e.g, Warmblood, Cob, Hunter, etc you may need to go up a size
