William Fox-Pitt Alltech FEI 2010 World Equestrian Games

Belgium’s Philippe LeJeune was crowned the Individual World Champion of Show Jumping at WEG, achieving four clear rounds on four different horses. Meanwhile, Britain’s William Fox Pitt was part of the gold medal-winning eventing team, also picking up an individual silver medal riding Sackville’s Cool Mountain.

William FoxPitt Bramham Horse Trials 2008 Show Jumping

Despite coming second to Andreas Dibowski at Pau’s CCI**** in France,   William Fox-Pitt  has won the $150,000 HSBC FEI Classics  series for  collecting the most points across eventing’s  annual four-star events;  Kentucky, Badminton,  Luhmuhlen, Burghley and Pau.

WFP took the title from fellow Brit, Oliver Townend.

A second-place finish on Navigator in Pau, France, was enough to beat  Andreas Dibowski of Germany by two points. “I am very relieved and  pleased, and pleased with my horse for coping so well,” said William.
